Policies and Proceedures

1. The prospective student understands that he or she is authorizing La Baume Universite to verify any and all information regarding employment, education, and any other pertinent information provided to us, personal or otherwise. The applicant releases all third parties from any damage that may result from furnishing information to L’ University. Any misstatement or omission of information on the applicant's application and/or resume and supporting materials may be grounds for disqualification or immediate revocation of the applicant's degree and status.

2. The prospective student understands that by completing this application, he or she is asking L’University to give a decision using the e-mail address provided. L’University will not give, sell or rent the applicant's e-mail address or other personal information to any third parties. However, L’University may use the applicant's e-mail address to send information about updates, specials, discounts, incentives or any other communication it. To be taken off our mailing list, respond to any of these communications with a blank e-mail that has the word "remove" in the subject line.

3. La Baume is a religious university and feels no need for accreditation by any government for the diploma process. Being a leader in distance-learning arena, L’University constantly strives for excellence in all its programs so that our graduates continue to excel in the work world. We strive to meet and exceed the requirements of more traditionally accepted universities. AOAEX has not examined or evaluated La Baumes courses or online academic studies. But, as a foreign university La Baume has not been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Accreditation (CHEA). Before submitting an online application to La Baume University, the applicant should familiarize him or herself with AOAEX's accreditation policies and procedures.

4. The prospective student acknowledges and understands that L’University is not accredited by one of the seven official regional accrediting bodies recognized by CHEA in the United States. As a result, L’University is not eligible to participate in the Federal Student Aid Program or approved to accept tuition payments from the GI Bill. However with our low cost for the total program, student aid should not be necessary thus ensuring a graduate with a school debt free situation in which to begin his or her new career.

5. La Baume University cannot guarantee that its degrees will be accepted by all post-secondary institutions. In addition, certain employers, including without limitation government and other publicly-funded organizations in states such as Florida, Illinois, Oregon, New Jersey, North Dakota, Texas, Washington and Idaho, may not or will not recognize or accept a L’University degree. If an applicant is unsure whether certain post-secondary institutions or employers will accept a L’University degree, the applicant should first consult with those institutions or employers to determine their policies regarding the acceptance of degrees from private, post-secondary institutions with AOAEX accreditation.

6. L’University will not issue diplomas to individuals in restricted countries, which include: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Serbia, and Sudan.

7. If the applicant is unsatisfied in any way with his or her degree, he or she may request a refund in accordance with the L’University schedule. The student will return (at his or her expense) the degree as well all materials received. The return must be made using a traceable shipping method such as FedEx, UPS or DHL. Upon receipt of these materials, L’University will provide a refund as follows. Full refund (less $55.00 processing fee) if materials are returned within 7 days of receipt 2/3rd refund (less $55.00 processing fee) if materials are returned between 8 and 14 days of receipt 1/3rd refund (less $55.00 processing fee) if materials are returned between 15 and 21 days of receipt No refund after 21 days The following fees are not refundable: $25.00 Administrative fee Rush order expediting fee Shipping fee Alumni Association dues Honors fees University Store items
